Add your first store location

A walkthrough of adding a single location to your store locator.

Once you are logged in, adding your first location takes about 30 seconds.

    Open the Stores section
    From the dashboard sidebar, click "Stores". This is where every location you manage lives.

    Click "Add Store"
    The button is at the top right of the Stores list. It opens the new-store form.
  3. 3
    Enter the basics
    At minimum you need a name and a street address (city, state/region, postal code, country). The address is what gets geocoded into map coordinates.

    Add optional details
    Phone, email, website URL, hours, photos, and category are all optional but highly recommended — they make the listing more useful to customers.

    Save
    Maptera geocodes the address in the background and the location appears on your map within a few seconds.
If geocoding fails (the location appears at 0,0 or in the wrong country), see our guide on fixing geocoding errors. Usually the cause is a typo in the address.
