Set business hours for a store

Hours of operation appear in the store details panel and on each map marker popup. They are optional but heavily recommended — customers expect to see them.

Adding hours

   Open the store and scroll to "Hours"

   On the store edit page, find the Hours section. Each day of the week has its own row.

   Set open and close times

   For each day, pick an open time and a close time. To mark a day as closed, toggle the "Closed" switch.

   Handle special cases

   Use "Closed" for full-day closures. For 24-hour operation, set open to 12:00 AM and close to 11:59 PM. For split shifts, contact support — we are working on multi-shift support.

   Hours appear on the public widget within a few seconds.

Time zones

Hours are displayed in the time zone of the store, not the visitor. Maptera detects the time zone from the geocoded coordinates automatically — you do not need to set it manually.

Holidays

There is no holiday calendar yet, but you can use the "Notes" field on the store record to call out major closures (e.g., "Closed Dec 25").
