Store locator features that keep your network working.

Bring your existing locations, keep their details current, and help shoppers take the next step. Five connected workflows, from the first import to the follow-up.

01

CSV migration with preview and undo

Bring your locations from Stockist, Storepoint, Storemapper, StoreRocket, or another locator. Review the changes before you switch.

Make the move with your existing location data.

  1. 1Upload your CSV export and match its columns to location fields. Choose which extra fields visitors can see.
  2. 2Review new locations, updates, removals and map pins before applying the import.
  3. 3Keep an import receipt and undo eligible changes without replacing locations from other sources.
02

Google Sheets sync

Keep your locator connected to the spreadsheet your team already uses, with hourly, six-hourly or daily updates.

Spend less time uploading the same location list.

  1. 1Connect a Google Sheet shared as Anyone with the link — Viewer, then map its columns and review the first import.
  2. 2Choose an update schedule. An unchanged sheet preserves edits made in Maptera.
  3. 3Review conflicts, invalid rows, missing pins or large removals before they can replace your published data.
03

Product catalogs and retailer filtering

Show shoppers which retailers carry the product they want. Manage your catalog, assign locations, and share a product-specific locator.

Give every product a clearer path to a nearby retailer.

  1. 1Add product names, SKUs, images and Shopify handles to your catalog.
  2. 2Assign products to the retailers that carry them, individually or through a mapped CSV import.
  3. 3Let shoppers filter your locator by product or embed a locator for one product on its own page.
04

Dealer updates and reconfirmation

Give dealers a private link to confirm their details. Review their changes and schedule reminders to keep the network current.

Let the people closest to each location help maintain it.

  1. 1Share or email a private update link so a dealer can confirm hours, contact details, address, products and operating status.
  2. 2Approve or reject each proposal before it appears on your locator. Later edits are protected from stale approvals.
  3. 3Optionally request fresh confirmation every 30, 90 or 180 days and revoke links when needed.
05

Customer inquiries and follow-up

Turn a dealer search into a conversation. Capture questions for a location and requests from shoppers who cannot find a nearby retailer.

Keep track of interested shoppers, including gaps in your coverage.

  1. 1Enable inquiry forms with your brand's notification email and privacy policy. Visitors agree to be contacted about their request.
  2. 2Receive inquiries in your dashboard, with email notifications to your brand and optional routing to the selected dealer.
  3. 3Track each inquiry as new, contacted or closed, and follow up from your email client.

Build on the locator you already need.

These workflows sit alongside searchable maps, custom styling, directions, location pages and analytics.

Planning your move to Maptera

Can I move from another store locator?

Yes. Import a CSV export from Stockist, Storepoint, Storemapper, StoreRocket or another provider. Map the columns, review the changes and apply the import. Keep your previous embed until you have checked the replacement. Import limits follow your location plan.

What sharing settings does Google Sheets need?

The sheet must allow Anyone with the link — Viewer. Select the tab you want to sync, review the first import, then choose hourly, six-hourly or daily checks. For a private sheet, upload a CSV export.

Does the product locator show live stock levels?

Product assignments show which retailers carry a product. They represent your catalog availability rather than a real-time stock count from a retailer’s point-of-sale system.

Where can I use the product filters and inquiry forms?

Use the v2 OpenStreetMap locator for the product filters and inquiry forms. Product-specific iframe embeds work on pages that accept an iframe. You can manage sources, products, dealer proposals and inquiries from Location network in your dashboard.

Do dealer changes go live automatically?

Your administrator approves or rejects each dealer proposal. Private links expire after 30 days and can be revoked. Reconfirmation reminders are optional, with a choice of 30, 90 or 180 days.

How does inquiry follow-up work?

Enable the forms, add a brand notification email and a privacy-policy URL, then collect consented requests in your dashboard. Track new, contacted and closed inquiries, receive email notifications, and reply through your email client.
