The Maptera widget exposes 30+ customization options so it blends naturally with your brand. Every option lives in the Embed page of your dashboard with a live preview alongside.

What you can customize

Layout style (sidebar, full-map, list-only, map-only)
Sidebar position (left or right) and width (narrow / medium / wide)
Primary, secondary, background, and text colors
Font family (default, modern, classic)
Map provider (Google Maps or Mapbox)
Marker color, shape, and clustering behavior
Which controls show (search, filters, distance, hours, photos)
Animation speed
Custom CSS overrides (Pro and above)

How changes get applied

Customizations are stored on your account, not in the embed snippet. That means you can tweak the widget at any time and every site that has the embed installed updates automatically — no need to re-paste the snippet.

Use the live preview on the Embed page to dial in your design before copying the snippet. Most users iterate for 5–10 minutes here before publishing.
