Choose a layout for your store locator

The four built-in layouts and when to use each.

Last updated April 27, 2026

Maptera ships with four layouts. Pick the one that matches how customers will actually use your locator.

A scrollable list of stores beside a map. Best for retailers and service businesses where customers browse by name or filter, then look at the map for context.

Full-map

The map fills the entire widget. The store list lives in a collapsible drawer. Best when the visual map is the primary experience — for example, dense urban networks where seeing pin density matters.

List-only

No map at all — just a searchable, filterable list of stores. Best for service-area businesses that do not have walk-in locations and just want to show territories.

Map-only

Just the map, no list. Best for one-page sites or hero sections where you need a compact embed and customers click pins for details.

You can switch layouts at any time without losing your other customizations. Try a few and look at engagement metrics to find the best fit.
