Install Maptera on WordPress

Embed the Maptera widget on a WordPress site or in WooCommerce.

WordPress accepts the Maptera embed snippet without any plugins.

Block editor (Gutenberg)

    Open the page in the block editor
    Pages → All Pages → click the page where the locator should live.

    Add a Custom HTML block
    Click + and search for "Custom HTML".
  3. 3
    Paste the Maptera snippet
    Paste the snippet copied from the Maptera Embed page.
  4. 4
    Update or publish
    Save the page. The widget renders immediately.

Classic editor

Switch the editor to "Text" mode (not Visual) and paste the snippet directly into the body. Switch back to Visual to confirm.

Some WordPress security plugins strip iframes by default. If your widget does not render, check plugins like Wordfence or iThemes Security and allowlist maptera.switchlabs.dev.
