Tag categories that shoppers care about
Product lines carried, services offered, or store type. Categories become the filters on the front end, so decide them before you import rather than after.
Copy your embed snippet
Open the Embed section of the Maptera dashboard and copy the one-line script tag.
Create the page in WordPress
Add a page called "Stockists", "Where to Buy", or "Find a Store". Give it a real heading and a sentence of copy so the page is not just a widget.
Paste into a Custom HTML block
Use the Custom HTML block in the block editor, the Text tab in the Classic Editor, or the HTML widget in Elementor or Divi. A plain paragraph or text block will strip the script tag.
Clear your cache and check the live page
WooCommerce sites almost always run a caching plugin. Purge the cache and view the page logged out. If the map still does not render, check for a security or optimisation plugin stripping inline scripts.

Is there a WooCommerce store locator plugin?

Can the locator show which stockists carry which products?
Yes, through categories. Tag each stockist with the product lines it carries and shoppers can filter to the ones that stock what they want. To be clear about the limit: this is a filter on data you maintain, not a live inventory feed — it does not know what is on the shelf right now.
Does it work with my WooCommerce theme?
Yes. The locator renders inside whatever container you place it in and is responsive, so it inherits your page width and behaves on mobile regardless of theme.
Why is the map not showing on my WooCommerce site?
Nearly always one of three things: a caching plugin serving an old copy of the page, a security or optimisation plugin stripping inline scripts, or the snippet pasted into a paragraph block rather than a Custom HTML block. Check them in that order.
Will it slow down my store?
